How fast is the webspace there?
Right after the amount leaves your balance. Setup runs automatically: we create the subscription on the web server, set up the domain and the certificate, and the panel shows the access details.
Can I change package later?
Yes, on request via support. Write us a ticket with the package you want; we switch it for you, and your files, databases and mailboxes stay where they are. There is no button for it in the panel yet.
Do I have to cancel?
You do not have to, but you can at any time. The package renews automatically for another month as long as your balance covers it. If you no longer want that, cancel it in the panel: it runs until the end of the paid period and then ends. No minimum term.
Where are the servers?
In Germany. The web server sits in a German network, so your data is under German law and the GDPR. The exact site differs from our KVM nodes, which stand at myLoc in Duesseldorf.
Do I need a domain to order?
No. You can order without one and add a domain later, or bring one you already own. A .de costs 5.42 euro a year with us.
Is this the right thing for me?
If you want to run a site without administering a machine, yes. If you need root access, your own kernel or software we do not offer, take a KVM server instead.
